Hdez Gabinets is a family cabinet shop in College Park. We've been building storage, including custom closets, built-ins, and cabinetry, for more than 20 years, and every piece is cut in our shop for the space it's going into.

What we build into a closet
Hanging sections
Sized for what you actually hang. Long coats and dresses need different heights than shirts.
Drawer banks
Drawers for folded clothes, accessories, and everything that doesn't belong on a hanger.
Shoe storage
Shelves sized for the shoes you own, at a height you can reach.
Shelving
Adjustable and fixed shelving, so the closet can change when your wardrobe does.
Islands for walk-ins
A center island with drawers or a top surface, when the room is large enough for one.
Doors and trim
Doors and trim made to match the rest of the house, including glass-front doors with lighting.
Why build a closet instead of buying a system
A modular system assumes your closet is a rectangle with standard ceiling height and no obstructions. Real closets have return-air vents, sloped ceilings, light switches in inconvenient places, and doors that swing into the useful corner.
When we build, those stop being problems. The cabinetry gets designed around them.
